Opened in May 2009 in the parish of Longos Vales, this Interpretative Centre exhibits several panels about the reality of the Castro Culture scattered across the Monção municipality, and the findings excavated during the archaeological fieldworks that have been made until now. This initiative is aimed to play a strong pedagogical role at schools, and several activities have been undertaken   in this space including visits to the settlement’s ruins, classified as National Monument, and support is also given to the archaeological campaigns that take place in summer.
