Atlântico Ecological Trail

Characteristics: landscape, cultural

Distance: 3,7 km

Difficulty: easy-average

Localization: Caminha – composed of 3 sections (Foz do Minho, Sargaceiro Path in Moledo and Camboas Path in Vila Praia de Âncora), intended for pedestrians and bicycles use. Its points of interest are the natural heritage (Minho River mouth, Camarido National Forest, several areas that integrate the Natura 2000 Network and the beaches), as well as the fauna and flora typical to these areas

Caminho do Rio Ecological Trail

Distance: 13,5 km

Difficulty: easy

Localization: V.N. Cerveira – the underlying natural conditions allow the presence and contact of various species of birds, mammals, amphibians and fish, in an area integrated in the Natura 2000 Network and the Waterbird Protection Zone of the Minho estuary. It also has as points of interest the Minho River Aquamuseum, the Castelinho Leisure Park and the Lenta beach, among others

Caminho do Rio Minho Ecological Trail

Distance: 3,2 km

Difficulty: easy-average

Localization: Caminha – composed of two sections (Seixas and Lanhelas), starts at the northern limit of the municipality and continues along the banks of the Minho river, where one can observe a great diversity of fauna and flora, besides the traditional vessels of the river Minho and the estuary. Also worth mentioning are some buildings of high architectural value

Cristelo Ecological Trail

Characteristics: landscape, ecological

Distance: 1,5 km

Difficulty: easy

Localization: Caminha – connects the village to Moledo and is ideal for more quit walks, nexto to the Camarido National Forest. Being shelteres from the sea, it may also be the best option for tours outsie the summer period. On sunny days you can take advantage of the picnic park and spend day in contact witj nature

 

 

 

 

 

Foz do Âncora Bicycle Course

Distance: 0,8 Km

Difficulty: easy

Localization: Caminha  consisting of two distinct and united segments, one in front of the beach of Vila Praia de Âncora and the other at the mouth of the Âncora river, provides a continuous circulation between the Lagarteira Fort and the Âncora river. It is ideal for those who want a course near the beach, close to an urban area, with good accessibility and availability of services

 

 

Rio Minho Ecological Trail

Characteristics: landscape, cultural, historical

Distance: 19 km

Difficulty: easy

 

Localization: Valença e Monção – transformation of the old railroad track that connected the two municipalities, for the use of pedestrians, cyclists and horses; its main points of interest are the Minho river and its banks, the region’s rural landscape and some edified heritage

 

Santo Isidoro Pedestrian and Cicling Course

Characteristics: landscape, ecological

Distance: 2,13 km                                                               

Difficulty: easy

Localization: Caminha – begins to the south of the urban agglomerate of Moledo, where a great diversity of species of dune flora can be observed, extending along the rocky coast. With excellent views of Santa Tecla hill and Moledo Beach at your feet, this course is ideal for long walks by the sea in the late afternoon
