S. Bento das Peras Mountain

The S. Bento das Peras Mountain, from where can be observed one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Minho from its two belvederes, is also a place of worship having two chapels: one smaller of the 16th century and one that dates from 1970, in addition to a Roman burial place. The feast in honour of S. Bento das Peras or "S. Bentinho" is held on July 11 and the great pilgrimage takes place the following Sunday. A place that is worth visiting, to be close with nature or simply to regain strengths.
