Carreira Tourist Village

In the parish of Sobradelo da Goma, with the Merouço Mountain as background scenery, is where you’ll find the Carreira Tourist Village, a project that was created with the purpose of restoring all local buildings with traditional features and which is almost concluded. Currently, you can make meals in the restaurant and you may stay overnight in this village of fabulous landscapes, in any one of the two available rural tourism houses – the Capela House and the Eiras House. After a peaceful night, set out to discover neighbouring areas by following the Ribeiro Queimado Pedestrian Itinerary, a trail that accompanies the brook, and whose route of rare beauty has several resting places and pass very close to the Pontão Recreational Park. Equally beautiful is the Merouço Mountain Trail, which contemplates the many fauna and flora species that make this a village you definitely have to discover.
