Rio Minho Ecological Trail and Walking Trails

Classified as the fourth best European Greenway, along 20 km, it runs along the whole riverbank of Valença of the Minho river, in a course of great beauty and natural and landscape richness, which intends to reinforce, simultaneously, the local tourist offer and the Sports and leisure activities. Touring the municipality on foot and discover all its charms is a real challenge, with its network of 12 walking paths. It is possible to go through valleys and mountain ranges and be dazzled by the magnificent natural, cultural and historical heritage. From its belvederes you can appreciate the wide landscape and glimpse the lush vegetation of the riverside area.
